MUSIC MINISTRY TUNE UP is a 3-step process that is customized to each church’s needs.
STEP ONE – PRE-VISIT QUESTIONAIRRE
Approximately a month before Chuck comes, the music minister will fill out a questionnaire to give basic information concerning the music ministry of the church, church schedule, church staff, attendance and other related data.
STEP TWO – ON SITE VISIT
Chuck will arrange with the music minister a date for a weekend visit to the church. At the discretion of the music minister this visit would begin on Friday night or Saturday morning and would go through Sunday night or Monday morning. The events for the weekend would include a meeting with the music minister and meetings with whatever individuals or groups the music minister chooses. These could be music staff, choir officers, music committee or pastor. It could also include a choir lunch or dinner where Chuck would give an address that would include encouragement, humor and a challenge. Over the weekend Chuck would also observe any services and rehearsals the music minister chooses.
STEP THREE – FOLLOW UP
Within a week of the visit Chuck will present to the music minister a written report that would include observations, ideas, resources and encouragement for the music ministry of the church. Within a week after that Chuck will have a phone call follow up with the music minister discussing the report.
